A Month of Firsts

Hello friends!  A whole lot has happened in the past few weeks.  Nellie is like a new baby with all the things she is doing.  She had her sixth month check up and weighed 14.5 pounds.  Still in the 25% for weight and 50% for height.  She rolls over both ways and sits up and  plays.  She naps on her own and with her hands unswaddled.  What's happening to my baby!!!??

Here she is at six months!
I have made her yams, avocados, and pears so far.  She's an organic baby and eats better than her mama.  I finally found a cereal she likes too, organic brown rice cereal.  She ate it up this morning and I made her another serving and she still wanted more!  I stopped because I didn't want her to get a stomach ache from being too full.  Unfortunately, our local grocery store (Smith's) doesn't have a very  big organic fruits and veggies section so I think I am going to have to make a special trip to Whole Foods or Trader's Joe's for Nellie's produce...boo!
Here are some recent photo shoots.  I have taken probably 1000 photos in the past month and I have a sickness where I can't delete one unless it's out of focus or really bad.  So I end up having a hundred pics that look very similar.

Nellie got dedicated at church on Mother's Day and this is the dress she wore.
This outfits reminds me of a duck!
Summertime!!!

Nellie is playing with her friend Titus.  I was babysitting for a friend and they just laugh and talk to each other and get so excited!
Another first for Nellie...swimming!
She loves the water and didn't fuss at all.  The reason we are in clothes is we  are at my parent's for the weekend and didn't bring our swimsuits!  Nellie didn't even get to wear her new cute swimsuit!
Bren, Andy and Macey came over to swim too.  Nellie is still a little unsure of what's going on in this giant bathtub.
Hey cutie!
So I had to try dunking Nellie underneath to see if she liked it.  Macey went first and screamed like crazy but survived so I thought I would try it.
She didn't care at all!  It didn't even phase her.  I think we have a little swimmer on our hands!
Chillin' on the waterfall.
Bren and I getting the babies ready.  They just happen to have matching floaties.
We could never get them to both look at the camera.  Macey looked so cute in her baby bikini!
Kisses from Daddy.
Cody and I went to a wedding in Cruces.  Grandparent's watched Nellie and she came for a bit of the reception.

So instead of staying with us in our new house soon you'll have to stay in our new condo!  Here's what happened.  We terminated on the house because the inspection showed all these things that needed repairing, like the roof, electrical and plumbing.  We didn't want to  put all that money into the house.  So we wanted to stay on the east side of town near Cody's office so we decided to buy a new condo that we don't have to put any money into.  So it's 3 bedroom and 2 full bath's and 1300 square foot built in 2005.  It has new washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, and microwave.  There are two pools, park and exercise rooms.  We are considering putting in hardwood floors.  It's going to be so lovely!

Here's a list of Nellie's first since my last post.
