Well, it was a hard week. Not just for Carrie (somebody threw a water balloon at her), but also for our computer. It started late last Tuesday night. I (Cody) was in the bedroom and I heard the dreaded "Uhhh, Cody..." Well, I run into the living room to find that Carrie had accidently spilled Kool Aid onto the laptop. You see, we lack a place to put our computer, so we keep it on the same table that we eat and drink on. This was bound to happen. But, thank God, we turned the computer off fast enough that it didn't short circuit. I then got a blow dryer and dried the keyboard. So, the good news is that the only thing that came from it is keys that stick a little because of the sugar. Other than that, all was ok.
So on Saturday, I (Cody) was joking with Carrie that if we ever have any problems with the computer, that I will be able to blame them on her because she spilled something on it. Yeah, I spoke too soon. Later that night, we were entertaining guests and we had the computer out playing some music. Because the table we had it on was in the middle of the room, there were computer cords everywhere. Me, being nimble as a cat, happened to trip over one of the cords, which sent the computer flying to it's demise (or so I thought). Everyone just stopped and stared at me. I just stared at the computer. But again, by the grace of God, it was okay!! Seriously, you don't know how big of a deal this is that the computer isn't dead right now. We have gone 8 months now with no incident and during this week we had two. I have attached two pictures for your viewing pleasure. All of you Mac haters out there will enjoy seeing our Powerbook banged up.
Here the metal bowed out a little from the impact of the fall.

And here is a small dent behind the screen. These two places are the only two visible spots that there was any damage. Yahoo!!
