This weekend we took a group retreat to the beach about two hours south. It was still pretty chilly but we still waded in the water, played volleyball and soccer, and laid out in the sand. I chose to do this one in black and white so no one has to be deeply disturbed by my pastey white skin that never sees the light of day. I love Cody's smirk in this one!
This is an old cistern where I am sure important things happened on important dates by important people for important reasons.
I love this AAAADORABLE little girl. She was just the sweetest little thing wandering around by herself.
Here is the North African Sanjaya. If you aren't familiar with this boy, PUH-leeze people get with the times already!

Your photos are beautiful! And he does look freakishly like Sanjaya! Did he sing? Or even sing badly?
Sis, that picture of the bowling shoes is GREAT! I'm proud of you! I can't wait to talk to you. CALL ME BACK, PUNK!
So, how'd the new volleyball work for ya?
Thanks for hosting us last week... we enjoyed our visit, it's always great to hang out with people our age. And we'll have to invest in that Turbo Cranium... our small group here likes to find excuses to take a break from our curriculum for an impromptu game night!
So, did you just walk up to Sanjaya and ask to take a photo with him? Did you explain the whole American Idol thing to him? When I was in Asia in 2001, they had a similar show, and people told me I looked like one of the contestants. I think I may have signed a few autographs, actually.
