3 Mile hike to THE "spring"

So, last Sunday my parents and us packed up the Uhaul and moved all our stuff to Albuquerque. We didn't have Internet and got back on Wednesday night so that's why there is no post from last week.

Yesterday we decided to go on a hike up to Dripping Springs.  Here is the road on the way up there.  It was so green and beautiful because of all the rain this year.  The clouds were so pretty and making nice shadows and shade.

I know you are wondering why I am wearing sandals on our 3 mile hike.  Well I already took all my shoes to Albuquerque so sandals is all I have here.  Interesting fact about that shirt, it's Cody's little league baseball shirt from when he was about 8 years old.  Here I am wearing it at 8 months pregnant!  I have also been stealing his t-shirts to sleep in.

See how green it is?!  We weren't planning on going three miles (I know I wasn't) but once we started and were about 30 minutes in and saw the sign for 1 mile to the dripping springs I had to get there!  Well when we finally arrived this is what we saw...

Literally a "dripping spring."  We couldn't even cross the rope to cool off in the water.  The last half mile my ligaments were killing me and I was cramping up but I made it and paid the price later and was super sore.  But it was nice for us to be outside in nature.

Okay here is me and BG in front of our Barn.  The whole top part above the doors is our apartment.  Now BG can always say that her first house was a barn.

BG Update:
-At our 32 appointment last week I was still measuring three weeks small.  She ordered an ultrasound to make sure her growth was okay but they couldn't get me in for a few days so I just scheduled the ultrasound at the same time as our next appointment at 34 weeks.  I am anxious to know how big she is!
-I am still feeling really good.  Just have the normal back pain and I seem to get tired quicker...even going shopping I wear out sooner!
-I am currently reading three birth books on natural child birth.  Cody's gonna be my "coach" so he is reading all the books too so we are both prepared.  I want as little intervention as possible, ie:  no continuos electronic fetal monitoring, no epidural, no episiotomy, no pitocin.  Disregard that info if you aren't familiar with all that stuff.

My parents bought us our travel packnplay and it came in the mail!  I love it and folds up super small for travel.

I can take the bassinet out of the top for when she gets over 15 pounds.

Sounds like you are getting everything all ready for the big arrival of BG. Please take care of yourself and don't try to many excursions! You wouldn't want to be out to far when Missy decides to make her grand arrival.
Take care and you are doing a great job on the Blog., showing us your new home and etc.

Thanks for the awesome updates and pics. Val and I have a barn in our past, too. To date, one of our favorite places ever!

On the "interventions"--we weren't as brave. When I brought Val into the LDR room, I announced, "We want drugs and while you're at it, go ahead and give her some, too!"
