The last three weeks

So I have confession.  I am slowing losing interest in blogging.  I was blogging once a week but I am think I'll go to every two weeks.  I don't think I have much interesting to say and all that's going on is hanging out with Nellie all day.  But I do have several pics from the last few weeks!
Look at how much Nellie has grown!  She looks so different!

She can stand up now!  Well she bears down on her legs and pushes off of everything.

"Excuse me...what are you looking at!?"
Look how huge this hat was when she was a couple of weeks old!

We met up with some of Cody's old friends from Clovis as they were passing through Alb.  Josh (in the green) graduated with Cody.

This is Cody and Nellie doing their first father/daughter dance at Josh and Kim's wedding in Farmington.  Aren't they so sweet?!

The happy couple!

Hanging out at the rehearsal.

Here is Nellie on New Year's eve.  She crashed out from all the partying.
Yes, we did pose her to look like she passed out from drinking (are we that terrible of parent's?)

Cutest. Smile. Ever.

Our friends Nat and Paul just moved overseas to the same city we just returned from.  Nellie and I went to see them off at the airport.  "Bye friends, we'll miss you!"

Joanna and I at a women's brunch.  The significance of this day is that it was the very first time I left Nellie alone.  (she was with Cody)

And finally, I celebrated 27 years last Friday. We went for sushi and on Saturday went bowling with some friends. Nellie like the blacklight at bowling and don't worry, it was non-smoking!

Christmas Pics!

We spent Christmas in Clovis so you all know what that means...photo shoots!!! We took SO many pictures of Nellie and there are so many cute ones I just had to post a bunch.  We drove up on Christmas Eve after lunch and she wore her one dollar Target onesie that says "my first christmas."  She does so great in the car and will just sleep the whole time.

Family portrait taken in a warehouse.  Came out cute huh?!

Doesn't Nellie look like a little doll and not a real baby?!  Her hat was a little too big :)

Jan got this old scale and we had lots of fun taking pics of Nellie on it.
Christmas Baby!

Big blue eyes.  They are still super blue but I read on Babycenter that they can still change for the next year!

She got this little dress from her Aunt Ali for Christmas.

The whole gang.  This is Jan's brother and sister and all their fam's.

All the cousins.

Sweet sleepy baby.  The kids all went to see the Curious Case of Benjamin Button while the grandparents watched Nellie.  I definitely recommend that movie.  I still need to see Marley and Me.

Here is how Nellie holds her hand.  It's so cute, she tucks her thumb under her pointer finger. Do all babies do this.  She still hates the pacifier but does occasionally suck on her hand.

Nellie giving me kisses under the mistletoe.

Every year we all get new pajamas and open them on Christmas Eve.  Nellie's had reindeer feet!

She still loves my sling.  Nellie and I read the Christmas Story this year while she sat in her sling.

A little tired from all the partying!
People always comment on how dark her skin looks.  I think her color looks pretty dark here.  Maybe I should stop putting her in the tanning bed for awhile!

"Please, people...just let me sleep!"

The girls and I went on a walk in Christmas pj's.

She LOVES her baths and showers.  She likes to kick around and relax.
Puh-leeze these two pics should be in a magazine!

This past week we went to Farmington for a wedding.  Stay tuned for cute pics of Cody and Nellie having a father daughter dance!

Nellie had her two month appointment yesterday.  She weighed in at 10 pounds 2 ounces, which is in the %25 and her length and head was in the %50.  She is technically 10 weeks but we were a little late for her appointment.
