I can’t say that I have had the greatest of support from my constituents in the U.S. concerning my desire to grow facial hair. Although I was blessed with dashing good looks, I did not inherit the ability to grow a thick man 'stache. Though that be the case, I decided I must find out how I would look if I tried. So, after 3 weeks of growth, this is what I had.

As you can tell, it is getting quite out of hand. I was having to clean it all the time after I ate. Finding little bits of food later in the day. Ok, maybe nothing was getting caught in there, but it wasn't looking that great. So, I decided to cut the goatee and keep the 'stache. I would love to hear your comments on whether I should keep the facial hair or go back to my baby face. Ladies, please constrain yourselves and use discretion when posting. I know this picture is like looking at a Greek god, but please remember, I am married.


Also, Carrie wanted to show off her new jellaba purchase. This is what all the women wear here. It comes in various styles and colors but always just a long robe with a hood. This one cost about $25. It's nice because she can be wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt underneath and then throw this on to go to the market. This is her second jellaba purchase and the next one is gonna be green!!!
