We took a weekend a getaway to Spain and toured the gorgeous Palace Real and the Prado and the Sofia Reina, where we saw tons of Picasso and Dali works. Behind us is the Crystal Palace in this huge amazing park.

It sure was purdy. I love the bold colors on the roof, very different from other drab ones I have seen.
We got to go to the movies! We saw Spider Man 3 and it was incredible being in a movie theater again (even if we had assigned seats, whoever heard of such?) We are so excited to get popcorn and Coke but were a tad disappointed when asked for mantequilla and they don't do butter on popcorn there. Oh well, it was SO fun!

The flowers were in full bloom all over the city. They have the most amazing plaza's that people hang out it in.

Ah, I see you're holding a Starbucks cup in one of the photos. I have a feeling that I would come to miss Starbucks myself (well, and movie theaters, too).
We got a guy at one of our Starbucks here to make a nous nous for us... he seemed up for the challenge of making those careful layers, and he didn't do too bad.
Looks like a BLAST. Wish we could have joined you. Of course, it may not have been quite as romantic with 3 little ones running around! :)
