So I celebrated 26 years this month. I have always resented the fact that my birthday falls two weeks after Christmas and now my wedding anniversary is two weeks before Christmas. So all my holidays that I get gifts for fall in less than a one month time. Cody has the perfect birthday, June 25th. Exactly six months from Christmas. This particular birthday was nothing special. Went to a meeting in the morning, watched a movie in the afternoon (hey it is my
birthday.) Then we went out to dinner at a delicious Thai food place.
My hair is getting long huh? I think I look younger with long hair. I decided to grow it out for a couple of reasons. One being I hate getting my hair cut here because no matter what you tell them they still do whatever they want. So I want to grow it out and then have a dramatic chopping when I go back to America. Cody likes it short anyway and it's much easier. I'll be thinking of some dramatic styles I can do.

Anyway, enough rambling, here is our delicious selection of food at the Thai place. I am obsessed with this coconut milk and curry vegetables. Nice presentation on the pineapple dish my friend got, but pretty skimpy on the portion size.

Lastly, here is reason number 437 I should not cook. I am such a klutz and I spill everything and make the biggest messes for the smallest tasks. I am constantly dropping the spoon and spilling the baking powder and my biggest downfall is not reading the whole recipe first! How many times have I got to the end and did it wrong already or didn't have enough ingredients to finish!

Understand disinspiring effect (yes, I just coined that word :) ) of people not reading your blog. Those of us who DO read though, love it so pls keep it up. You bring a smile to my face on days when I need it most. Hang in there! :
No worries, I'm still reading!
Happy Birthday.
I'm actually growing my hair out right now, too. The big cut will come sometime this summer. I am already looking at styles. Please share whatever you find. Your hair looks great right now, though!
I read you too! It brings back good memories, but I read this all the time even before I visited you. I like you guys a lot. Happy birthday, Carrie! Your hair does look great.
I am reading, too, checking at least twice a day (not stalking, just a blogger addict). I've lost momentum for commenting myself. And it seems not many people are commenting on the blogs I read and mine, either.
Carrie,
When you told me about your blog, I added it immediately to my favorites list, so I check it almost everyday. So...please keep it up. Now that I know you and Cody, your blog keeps me fresh on ways I can talk with our Best Friend about you guys.

I know I haven't talked to ya'll in a long time, but I do appreciate the effort you put into your blog. I'm sure it's not the funnest thing on your list. I hope you all are doing ok and know that I am lifting you up.
C'mon Carrie! Chin up girl... Your blog rocks! Happy Birthday :)

wow- what a fan club!! do you know about that site that can let you track where hits on your blog come from? John told me that no one was reading our blog so I did that for a week or two to show him that even his friends read it :-) He's still a doubter, but at least I know that people get a better idea about our life (or should I just be honest and say Sam) :-)
