4 More Days!

I can't believe Christmas will be here in four more days. AND I can't believe Nellie will be two months old on Saturday. We will be traveling a lot the next two weeks. Going to Clovis for Christmas and then to Farmington the next week for a wedding. Thankfully Nellie is still sleeping 10 hours a night. That blessing came a lot sooner than we thought but we are sure grateful.

Look how big she is getting! She is so long!

Uncle Jason and Aunt Sarah sent Nellie this adorable screen-printed onesie.  She has cute brown pants and pink booties to match.  I am obsessed with clothes so I literally have to avoid the baby section so I am not tempted to go crazy and buy tons of clothes that she can wear for such a short time.

My sweet girl.

We tried her in her seat for the first time this weekend.   I think she likes it.  She can't hold her head up very well yet so this is good practice.  She also rode in her stroller for the first time this week at the mall.  She really liked that too.  She just looked around all wide-eyed at everybody.  It drives me crazy when people ask what my "sons" name is even though is she is wearing girls clothes!

Enjoying the winter weather.

Look how high she can hold her head up now during tummy time!  She has to be in a good mood to pull off tummy time.
Morning sunrise.

Yesterday we all went to Santa Fe to finish up our shopping and walk around the plaza.  Poor Nellie threw up 4 times at Target and one time as we were holding her it went all over her face and in her little eyes.  It was so sad and I made such a mess on the changing station as she threw up all over it.  Everyone was so nice and helpful.

On Tuesday we are going to the UNM vs NMSU basketball game with our friends.  I hear it can be tough on the Aggie fans but I'll wear my t-shirt proud.  Hey, who's gonna hit a lady with a baby?!  I hope everyone has a fabulous week and Merry Christmas!!!

In India, the men wear more feminine clothes than they do here. (think pink and sparkly sometimes!) So even though Hazel would be wearing pink with flowers and bows, everyone, and I mean everyone, would still ask, "Is it a boy or a girl?" I'm surprised it happens here, though!

We are also asked if Ethan is a little girl instead of a boy. Sometimes he is in yellow and green, but still. Our next door neighbor even has had to ask us about three times whether he is a she.
How did you get Nellie to sleep 10 hours at night?? What are you feeding her? I need to get some!;)
