Catching Up

Ok, here's a look at Sept and Oct that I haven't yet posted. Only up to Halloween b/c I haven't yet downloaded all those pics. First we start with Balloon Fiesta 2010. This is one of my favorite times of the year. Every morning Nellie and I would watch the balloons from our house or go to the park. One of mornings we went to a friend's house and one of the mornings we went to the balloon field for take off. We were suppose go to the evening balloon glow but the day before we got the call to go pick up Julien so we missed it. What better reason to miss balloon glow!
I realize you can't actually see the balloons in these few pics but I sure think Nellie looks cute in them.

Allow me to introduce you to Jeffy, Nellie and Julien's new uncle! This Ali's husband and they live in Killeen, TX because Jeff is in the Army and stationed at Ft. Hood.

This is in Clovis and Nellie refused to nap this day so I took her out of her room and she was playing outside swinging and crashed out and Janny laid her here where she napped.

Okay, moving on to Nellie's 2nd birthday. Both sides of the fam came into town to celebrate and meet Julien.

These are balloon flowers that Uncle Jason made. He has mad skills at making balloon animals. Who knew!?

We did a little photo shoot with Janny the next day. Sweet little lips!




Nel got all these footed pj's for winter and I love how she looks in them! She feels so tall after putting on Julien's little footed pj's. At her 2 year check-up she was 24 lbs and %20 for weight and %50 for height. But she feels like a giant to me!

Trying to a get a pic with her brother on her birthday. ALL screaming. And I tried to get a pic in her birthday shirt but she was throwing a fit the whole time...ugh. The good news is she is showing more interest in Julien and being much nicer. She likes to "hug" him which involves laying flat out turtle style on top of him. And she asks to "hold Julien" and is always asking where he is when she wakes up. It really concerns her when Julien's crying and she always asks "what's the matter Julien?"

So there's the latest up to Halloween. Wait until you see my lil duck and baby skeleton...sooo cute! see ya soon!
